A new patch filled with a ton of new content is on its way to Genshin Impact, Ver. 2.6!
But before players get their hands on all the new content, Genshin Impact servers will be down for maintenance until the next update goes live.
Here’s everything players need to know about the Genshin Impact 2.6 maintenance schedule, including server status, free Primogems rewards, and all the latest news as we get closer to launch.

Genshin Impact servers will soon go down before the launch of Genshin Impact 2.6.

Genshin Impact 2.5 Maintenance Start Time
Server maintenance schedule
Genshin Impact servers will be down for maintenance on March 30, 2022at 6:00 a.m. server time (Chinese Standard Time).
In other time zones, Genshin Impact servers will drop to:
- March 29, 2022, 3:00 p.m. PST
- March 29, 2022, 6:00 pm EST
- March 29, 2022, 23:00 GMT
Servers will be unavailable for approximately 5 hours and players will receive compensatory Primogems during the time they cannot play the game.
Free Primogems for Genshin Impact Server Maintenance
Travelers will receive 60 Primogems for every hour the servers are down. However, if the game is back online before the scheduled 5 hours. Players will always get a minimum of 300 Primogems.
Additionally, miHoYo gives 300 Primogems compensation for all bug fixes found in the previous update. Thus, travelers who log into the game after the maintenance will receive 600 Primogemsalmost 4 wishes.
Free Primogems will be delivered to each player via in-game email. Additionally, if the maintenance takes more than 5 hours, 60 additional Primogems for each hour of delay will be added.
Genshin Impact 2.5 preload available now
Genshin Impact players can start preloading the next update. The worm. The 2.6 file size is about 3.05 GB for Android and IOS and about 6.0 GB for PC players.
PC users can keep playing while they download files. Unfortunately, there is no preload option for Playstation players.
Genshin Impact 2.6 Banners
Here are the banners released alongside Genshin Impact 2.6:
- Azure Tour will feature Kamisato Ayato – 5 Star Electro, Catalyst character.
- Ballad in goblets will feature Venti – a 5 star Anemo Bow character.
The following 4-star characters complete both banners:
The first weapon banner will feature a bow and the new 5-star sword.
- Haran Tsukishiro Futsu 5 Star Sword, Kamisato Ayato’s signature weapon.
- Elegy for the End The 5 Star Bow is an exciting niche weapon.
The following 4-star weapons complete the banner:
- Rust – Bow
- Flute – Sword
- Sacrificial Greatsword -Claymore
- Lenght – Catalyst
- Dragonbane – Polearm
For the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.6, we will only receive one replay, Kamisato Ayaka.
The second weapon banner will feature the Reforged Mistbreaker 5 Star Sword, Ayaka’s signature weapon.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Events
Genshin Impact 2.6 will release The Chasm, a new region with new creatures, enemies, and mechanics.
With the opening of Borders, Liyue characters will land in Inazuma for the celebration of the Irodori Festival.
Dainsleif and the Spiral Abyss are back for a new chapter of the Archon Quest. The story will leave crumbs on the characters to come: Yelan and Kuki Shinobu.
It’s not all about exploration and story. Genshin Impact 2.6 will provide chances to prove our combat skills, relax a bit and participate in exciting new events.
