NBA 2022 Playoffs – Complete First Round Matchups, Schedules and News

The NBA playoffs are here, and it’s shaping up to be an open chase for the 2022 title.

The Phoenix Suns walked away with the league’s best regular season record — eight games ahead of the second-best Memphis Grizzlies. Devin Booker, Chris Paul and the defending Western Conference champions are on a mission to redeem themselves after the six-game loss in last season’s Finals to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Many Western contenders stand in the way of the Suns, including Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, MVP favorite Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors, who are back in the playoffs for the first time since that they reached the final in 2019.

In the East, the defending champion Bucks are the 3 seeds in a stranded conference – the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Bucks and top-seeded Philadelphia 76ers were separated only by two games in the final standings of the regular season.

And the Brooklyn Nets, who needed the qualifying tournament to clinch the 7th seed, have the star power to shake up the playoff table.

Here’s all the info you need for every first-round game, including schedules, news and series-by-series analysis.
