RaceOlly struck out with an astonishing 33/1 winner of the Lincoln Handicap last weekend, and he’s back for his best bets on Scottish Grand National day here. Check out his best bets for Saturday’s races here…
ODS will make things work to fit this on paper and your big issue running should be well off the likely beat. Rebecca Menzies has had another good season and since December she hasn’t dropped below a 17% win rate for the month, 18% for December, 19% for January, 25% for February and 17% for March. She just came off a 112 day break and has performed well after that time off countless times and the last win mark was 2lbs lower and she was placed 2lbs higher this time last year.
DREAM VOICE he went off the mark for Iain Jardine at Newcastle recently and ran much better than the finishing position would suggest when he was fifth at Kelso last time. A Grade 1 winning chaser for Willie Mullins in this month of 2019 and although below that he is still a mark down in the 130 now. He ran well here in his only start to date when he was third in a chase of 156 won in three lengths and was able to run a great race here with a mark of 135.
NEXT TO ALICE it represents last year’s winning yard from Alex Hales and since arriving at the yard in October last year it has gone from strength to strength. She apologized last time on softer than ideal ground and before that she lost by a neck to today’s opponent, Holly Hartango, by a neck when she was giving her 7lbs. £9 flips here after that neck loss, but Holly Hartango is half the price. Alex Hales has a 29% win rate at the track over the last five years after four winners from 14 riders here.
The Ferry Master is interesting again here after last year’s effort, but I’ve opted for Alan King’s rookie. GREATER DUNDEE. Taking the Godsmejudge the same yard route by swinging here for this as a seven year old rookie and a mark in the 130s. Lots to get excited about with the potential upgrade now being sent to extreme rides and probably had this as plan for some time.
