Known Locations of Light Up Statues
First, you will need to find these statues. It’s currently unclear how many there are in total, so we may not have the location of each in Elden Ring.
Here’s where we know you can find a Breakable Statue:
- Stormsail Castle – Probably the first light up statue you’ll find, this one is in the courtyard near the ogre-like Omen.
- Sealed Tunnel, Altus Plateau – At the lowest level of the mining pit, under the wooden platforms.
- Mountain. He is not coming – Beyond the lava lake, near the runic bear that ambushes you.
- Land Between Desert – There are several statues scattered around the open plains of the Elden Ring world.
Now here’s how you can open them!
You can’t break them by hitting them, but if you’re looking for a weapon should be able to smash stone, here are the best strength weapons you can find!
How to break light statues in Elden Ring
Elden Ring puzzles tend to fall into at least one of two categories: breathtakingly complex or life-threatening. These statues are a bit of both.
This is because you can’t break them yourself, but instead you have to lure a large enemy type in to break them for you.
It is not always obvious. In fact, you can figure it out, only for the game to make you think You are wrong.
Take the statue in Castle Stormveil, for example. Enemy Omen is a big guy. You would think he would be able to crush this statue like an insect.
But you would be wrong. He’s just not strong enough. The good news is that her local buddy definitely is.
For this particular statue, climb the stairs and kill the deadly birds. Then, around where you first encounter Nepheli Loux, you’ll find a Giant Troll. It’s just before the Godrick Fog Gate.
Take out his entourage and then attract his attention.
Now you need to run to the statue, making sure it’s hot on your tail. Lure him to the statue and have him tear it to pieces. Now kill it and take what’s inside.
This is the method you will need to use for each statue. So, if you find one, know that a giant enemy is nearby!
