Elden Ring: Best Vampire Build

If you are having trouble with some of the late game areas of Elden Ring, the Vampire Build might be just what you need to beat the toughest bosses.

It’s no secret that Elden Ring punishes. Some bosses will require dozens of tries to be beaten. You will need to upgrade your character to deal with ever-increasing threats.

But once you’ve beaten Morgott, King Omen, and headed to later play areas, you’ll need to think about what kind of build you want to do.

It all depends on your playstyle. And if you’re a late-game player, you might want to start looking into Arcane and the blood loss status effect.

Here’s how you can have unlimited health regeneration with the best Elden Ring vampire build.

Our guides will frequently use a grace site to reference a location. Make sure you’ve found the right one with our guide!

Blasphemous Blade

From software

Most overpowered ‘vampire’ insane health regeneration in Elden Ring

This incredibly overpowered “Vampire” build uses the Rivers of Blood and Blasphemous Blade weapons to inflict blood loss and unlimited health regeneration.

Blood Leak is a status effect in Elden Ring that can significantly reduce the health of more punishing bosses.

Pair that with weapons and abilities that can steal or heal HP after dealing damage, and you’ve got yourself one of the strongest status effects in the game.

Especially when you start using items that scale with Arcane, Arcane is a stat that helps increase bleed status effects and item discovery.

That’s what the ‘Vampire’ build is all about. Being able to inflict blood loss on enemies in quick succession while simultaneously giving you health. It sounds too good to be true, but with the right items and weapons, it’s easily possible.

Elden Ring: Vampire Building Weapons

Your bread and butter for this build will be the Blasphemous Blade, but paired with the speed and damage from Rivers of Blood, you’ve got an incredibly overpowered combination.

rivers of blood

You will need to get the Blood Rivers Katana from the top of the Giant Mountains. This means you won’t get it until later in the game.

Once at the top of the mountains, you will need to defeat Bloody Finger Okina in the Church of Rest. This will reward you with the Rivers of Blood.

Now rivers of blood will be your main form of damage. This vampire build is all about dealing as much damage as possible with as many successive hits as possible.

This ensures that you constantly inflict blood loss and gain HP from the damage dealt. The Rivers of Blood special skill, Corpse Piler, will coat your weapon in blood and unleash a flurry of successive attacks.

This is essential to help this build succeed. You will have to wield it in your right hand.

Blasphemous Blade

The Blasphemous Blade you will get after defeating Rykard, the Blasphemer and obtaining his Memory.

You will find Rykard at Volcano Manor after climbing Mount Gelmir.

Now the blasphemous blade is the base of the vampire build. It has a passive effect that will allow you to restore HP after defeating an enemy. This passive effect is active as long as you wear it on one of your hands.

This means you can wield the Blasphemous Blade in your left hand and wield the Rivers of Blood in your right hand and still be able to restore your HP after defeating an enemy.

It might already sound pretty awesome, but things will start to get really vampiric when you start adding talismans to your build.

Elden Ring Vampire Build Talismans

Vampire Build talismans will help you increase your damage with successive hits and increase the amount of HP you receive from dealing damage or defeating enemies.

The number of talismans you can equip will depend on your progress in the story. If you went to Leyndell and defeated Godfrey, you should have four in total.

Otherwise, you can mix and match to see which ones best suit your style of play.

taker cameo

You will be rewarded with the Tanith Taker Cameo after completing his third request. You will find Tanith at Volcano Manor after being invited by Rya.

This talisman will increase the HP you receive from defeating enemies. So pairing up with the Blasphemous Blade will allow you to gain a lot of HP per enemy defeated.

Lange Godskin

The Godskin Swaddling Cloth can be found in the Spirit Summoner’s Cave at the top of the Giant’s Mountains. Defeat the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble duo boss at the end of the cave, and you’ll be rewarded with the Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman.

This talisman will allow you to restore HP with successive attacks. So having this talisman while having the rivers of blood in your hand is incredibly overwhelming.

You don’t yet have a relatively high level to obtain these items? The Blood Slash Ash of War is also great for bleed damage and can be found early in the game!

Millicent’s prosthesis

You will need to progress through Millicent’s quest to acquire this talisman. If you choose to challenge her, you will be rewarded with Millicent’s Prosthesis upon defeating her.

This talisman will increase your dexterity and increase your attack power on successive hits. This means that not only will you drain HP with each subsequent attack, but your attack power will also increase.

This means enemies will be defeated faster, which will also regenerate health through the Blasphemous Blade and Taker’s Cameo.

Bloodlord’s Exultation

The Bloodlord’s Exultation Talisman will be dropped by Esgar, Blood Priest in the Catacombs of Leyndell. You can find the Lyendell Catacombs through the Underground Grounds.

Blood Lord’s Exultation will allow players to gain attack power around blood loss. This means that as you inflict blood loss with successive attacks from Rivers of Blood, your attack power will increase.

These talismans will help players create the ultimate Vampire Elden Ring character.

Vampire Build Armor

While not required, players can also don the White Mask Helm to further increase the attack power they inflict upon losing blood.

White Mask Helm

Elden's Ring of Helm of White Mask

The White Mask Helm functions similarly to the Lord of Blood’s Exultation. This will slightly increase attack power when there is nearby blood loss. This includes player blood loss.

This means that if you attack, you’ll heal rather than waste time trying to find your Crimson Flask.
