Updates and scenarios of the 15 games

Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans (LIVE, TNT)

  • The Warriors will clinch the No. 3 seed with a win or loss to the Mavericks. If the Warriors lose and the Mavericks win, the Warriors will be the No. 4 seed. Golden State will face the Nuggets or Jazz in the first round.
  • The Pelicans clinched ninth place in the Play-In tournament and will host Spurs on Tuesday.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks (LIVE, League Pass)

  • To climb to third place, the Mavericks would have to win and the Warriors would have to lose. Otherwise, Dallas will finish seeded No. 4. The Mavericks will face either the Jazz or the Nuggets in the first round.
  • San Antonio is locked in 10th place and will play New Orleans in the first round of the Play-In tournament. The winner of this game will play the loser of Timberwolves-Clippers and fight for the No. 8 seed.

Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trail Blazers (LIVE, League Pass)

  • The math is simple for Utah: Win to clinch the No. 5 seed. A loss and a win for the Nuggets, however, would drop the Jazz to the No. 6 seed. Utah will face either the Mavericks or the Warriors in the first round.
  • The Trail Blazers have already been eliminated.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets (LIVE, League Pass)

  • Only one scenario exists that would see Denver clinch the No. 5 seed: a Nuggets win and a Jazz loss. Any other combination will see Denver finish as the No. 6 seed with their opponent (Golden State or Dallas) yet to be decided.
  • The Lakers have already been eliminated.

Chicago Bulls vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (LIVE, League Pass)

  • The Bulls are locked in the No. 6 seed and will face the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.
  • The Timberwolves will host the LA Clippers in a Play-In game on Tuesday. The winner of this game will pick up the No. 7 seed and advance to face the Grizzlies in the first round. The loser will host the Spurs-Pelicans winner in the Play-In Tournament and battle for the No. 8 seed, with the winner of that matchup facing the Suns in the first round.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. LA Clippers (LIVE, League Pass)

  • The Clippers are locked in eighth place and will visit the Timberwolves in the Play-In tournament. The winner of this game will pick up the seventh seed and face the Grizzlies in the first round. The Clippers-Timberwolves loser would face the Spurs-Pelicans winner for the eighth seed, with the winner of that matchup facing the Suns in the first round.
  • The Thunder have already been eliminated.

Sacramento Kings vs. Phoenix Suns (LIVE, League Pass)

  • The Suns are locked in first place in the Western Conference and will play the second survivor of the Play-In Tournament (Timberwolves, Clippers, Pelicans or Spurs).
  • The Kings have already been eliminated.

Boston Celtics 139, Memphis Grizzlies 110

  • The Celtics clinched the No. 2 seed in the East with a win over Memphis after watching the Bucks lose to Cleveland earlier on Sunday. Boston will face the Play-In Tournament winner of the Brooklyn-Cleveland game.
  • Memphis has already clinched the No. 2 seed in the West and will face either Minnesota or the LA Clippers in the first round.

Philadelphia 76ers 118, Detroit Pistons 106

  • The 76ers clinched the No. 4 seed after Boston beat Memphis. Philadelphia will have home-court advantage against the fifth-seeded Toronto Raptors in the first round of the playoffs.
  • The Pistons have already been eliminated.

New York Knicks 105, Toronto Raptors 94

  • The Raptors clinched the No. 5 seed. They will face the 76ers in the first round.
  • The Knicks have already been eliminated.

Orlando Magic 125, Miami Heat 111

  • The Heat are locked in the No. 1 seed. Miami will face the second survivor of the Play-In Tournament (Nets, Cavaliers, Hawks or Hornets) in the first round.
  • The Magic have already been eliminated.

Brooklyn Nets 134, Indiana Pacers 126

  • The Nets survived a few runs from the Pacers to win and clinch seventh place. They will host Cleveland in their first game of the Play-In tournament. The winner of this game will earn the seventh seed and face Boston in the first round of the playoffs.
  • The Pacers have already been eliminated.

Cleveland Cavaliers 133, Milwaukee Bucks 115

  • Milwaukee’s loss left the door open for Boston to snag the No. 2 seed with a win over Memphis. This put the Bucks at No. 3 and facing the Chicago Bulls in the first round.
  • The Cavaliers’ win keeps them in eighth place. They will play Brooklyn in their first game of the Play-In tournament. The winner of this game will be the seventh seed and face Boston in the first round of the playoffs.

Charlotte Hornets 124, Washington Wizards 108

  • Charlotte did what she could by beating Houston, but wins by the other Play-In teams kept the Hornets in 10th place. They will play Atlanta in their first game in the Play-In tournament. The winner of this game will face the loser of the Cavaliers-Nets for the eighth and final playoff spot.
  • Wizards have already been eliminated.

Atlanta Hawks 130, Houston Rockets 114

  • Atlanta’s win ensured they’ll have ninth place and home-court advantage in a knockout game against the Charlotte Hornets. The winner will advance for a shot at the eighth seed, while the loser will miss the playoffs.
  • The Rockets have already been eliminated.
