Bellator 276 is set to descend later TONIGHT (Saturday, March 12, 2022) from inside Family Arena in St. Louis, Mo., with a featherweight showdown between top contenders Adam Borics and Mads Burnell, who are currently at equality for the N°2 in the official classification. In the co-main event, former light heavyweight champion Phil Davis takes on Julius Anglickas.

Round 1: Anglickas shoots with a solid jab. Right hand for Davis. Davis shoots for an out and it’s stuffed. Good start for the Anglickas. High kick for Davis. Straight right hand in the middle for Davis. Anglickas light on his feet, Davis with the double jab. Anglickas with clean right hand. Davis with a double jab, shot to the body. Anglickas sniffles on an overhand right. Low kick from Davis lands another. Anglickas throws a right hand down the middle. Davis body shot. Davis shoots for the takedown and he gets it. Lateral control for Davis. Anglickas trying to escape. Davis lands a few punches, knee to stomach for Davis. Anglickas is trying to get back up but that’s easier said than done against a powerful wrestler like Davis. 10-9 Davis
Round 2: They take the center of the cage. One-two from Anglickas only finds air. Kick to the body by Davis. Low kick from Davis. Right hands on the middle courts for Davis. Jab by Anglickas. A strong low kick from Davis momentarily loops Anglickas. The high kick is blocked by the Anglickas. Anglickas looks for the overhand right, doesn’t land. Davis turns very well, not giving Anglickas the angles he wants. The right hand lands by Anglickas as I say that. Davis with a shot to the body. Davis gets his hands on Anglickas and he secures the takedown, quite slowly I might add. Lateral control for Davis. Davis is looking to get a kimura. Davis knees. Davis spins well as Anglickas tries to escape. Lateral control again for Davis. Davis’ short elbows find their mark. Davis again looking for the kimura, and he lands a solid shot to the side of Anglickas’ body. Anglickas struggles to get up, but it just doesn’t happen to him. Another dominating round from Davis. 10-9 Davis
Round 3: Low kick from Anglickas. Davis with a double jab, but a great head move from Anglickas. Body kick from Davis lands, seems to hurt Anglickas. Davis shoots for the takedwon and he’s stuffed by Anglickas. Davis shoots again with a double leg, picks it up, takes a few steps to the center of the cage and slams his enemy. Too good when it comes to wrestling. Side control once again for Davis, and he’s looking for the kimura again. It’s literally a mirror of the first two rounds. Anglickas lands a few shots to the body, but they cause no discomfort. Davis does not let go of his attempt at kimura. Davis goes up, he’s now looking for a triangle and Anglickas gets up. Davis brings him back down. Anglickas gets up and Davis drags him out again. Anglickas stands up, again. This time Davis has it against the cage. Davis tries hard for the takedown and he gets it. Anglickas, imperturbable, gets up. You can’t question your heart. Davis manages to drag him to the mat as time runs out, picks him up and slams him. 10-9 Davis
Final result: Davis defeats Anglickas via unanimous decision
John Salter vs. Johnny Eblen
Round 1: Touch of gloves. Salter with a low kick, Eblen with a strong right hand lands. Eblen Lands Calf Kick. Salter with a jab, connects. Another low blow lands for Eblen. Salter lands a nice left hand, Eblen shoots and lands a takedown. Salter shoots for an arm triangle and he squeezes it. Eblen works hard to slip away, he does. Closed custody now for Eblen. Salter peppering Eblen with jabs to the side of the head. Eblen with a huge elbow from the top position. Eblen doesn’t do much with this post. Salter tries to work but Eblen simply chokes him. Blows to Salter’s ear. Eblen positions himself to try and unload an attack, no. Eblen seems content to neutralize Salter for now. 10-9 Eblen
Round 2: Left hook lands for Eblen, follows it up with a low kick. Salter attempts an overhand right, hits Eblen’s glove. Nice right hand lands for Eblen. Body kick from Eblen. Salter with an overhand right. Solid kick to Eblen’s body, thud. Salter starts to back up a bit more as Eblen picks up the pace, picks up the intensity. Double hit from Eblen. Calf kick from Salter. Salter is looking for a takedown but Eblen is moving very well, not at all still. Eblen shoots and he lands a takedown against the cage. Eblen holds Salter against the cage and Salter manages to escape. Back to toe action. Eblen has had one shutout so far. Nice shot to the body from Eblen, followed by another solid body kick, Salter felt that one. Salter throws a knee, low kick. Eblen takes his time to recover. The action resumes, Eblen launches a high kick, blocked. Round up. 10-9 Eblen
Round 3: Nice kick in the middle of Eblen. Salter counters with a left hook Salter throws a few high kicks, but they have absolutely nothing behind them. Eblen sneaks in a left hand. Right to the body from Salter, then Eblen counters with a right to the body of his own. Nice forehand from Salter. Solid right hand to the middle, then Eblen’s body. Counter to the left of Salter. Salter snorts on an overhand right, Eblen stalks and he lands a huge left hook. The high kick lands for Eblen. Eblen looks sharp on the third and final lap. There are two minutes left in the fight. Salter needs a finish. Eblen pushes Salter against the cage, tries a single leg. Eblen gets the takedown, it should be game, set, game for Eblen if Salter can’t get up. Eblen in side control, lands a huge elbow and another. Dominant performance from Eblen. 10-9 Eblen.
Final result: Eblen defeats Salter via unanimous decision
Jay-Jay Wilson vs. Gadji Rabadanov
Round 1: Wilson opens with a spinning back fist, Rabadanov responds with a sold left hand. Wilson with a low kick, check. Rabadanov’s double shot. Vicious kick from Wilson. Rabadanov pressures, jab. shot in the body. Wilson retaliates with another low kick. Rabadanov is looking for space, the overhand right just missing for Wilson. Hick kick misses for Wilson. Rabadanov waiting for an opening, sniffs on a low kick. Spin Wilson’s back fist again. Jab from Rabadanov and Wilson burst in with a body kick and then a left hook. Rabadanov backs off for a second. Return to the center of the cage. Wilson works the spinning back fist for the third time in the first round, not knowing why. 10-9 Wilson
Round 2: Wilson’s body shot, Rabadanov launches into the withdrawal, drunk. Jab from Wilson, pushes Rabadanov against the cage and briefly gets the takedown. Calf kick from Wilson, Rabadano with a kick down the middle. Rabadanov with a nice jab, Wilson tries to fight back with his left hand. Nice overhand right for Wilson. Rabadanov launches into dismantling and he gets it. Half guard for Radonov. Shots to the body, Wilson trying to fire back shots, no good. Wilson struggles to climb back up. Rabadanov is in a good position and is not giving up. Rabadanov straightens up and lands a few shots from first position to close out the round. 10-9 Rabadanov
Round 3: Wilson quickly takes the center of the cage. Body kick from Wilson. Rabadanov calf kick. Rabadanov digs deep and recovers Wilson to score a huge takedown. Well done! Rabadanov looking for the rear-naked choke, it gives Wilson space to escape. Wilson drops a three-hit combo, doesn’t land cleanly on anything. Rabdanov lands a kick to the knee. Rabadanov shoots for another out and he gets it. Half guard, looking to straighten up to land a few punches. Up kick for Wilson, doesn’t land and now Rabadanov takes his back. Wilson rolls, tries to get away but Rabadanov has great control here. Wilson looking for an armlock submission, can’t get it. Rabadanov lands a few shots to the back of the ear and Wilson shoots for a triangle, no. Wilson continuing to work, needs to get a Hail Mary finish here. Don’t understand because time is running out. 10-9 Rabadanov
Final result: Rabadanov defeats Wilson via unanimous decision
