For the month of April, Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers will receive eight free games, including a critically acclaimed RPG.
March is coming to an end, which means Amazon Prime Gaming revealed a new series of games for players to download in April. Amazon Prime Gaming’s April lineup includes obscure titles, a LucasArts classic, and also features a big, fan-favorite Bethesda title.
This week, gaming subscription services started releasing their April lineups, and one service, in particular, made a big announcement. Games With Gold from Xbox offers Another view for free, while PS Plus gives players SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for the Bikini Bottom. Additionally, Sony has announced significant changes coming to the PS Plus service as it integrates PS Now with PS Plus, bringing more games to customers.
Every month, Prime Gaming releases a suite of free video games and several in-game goodies for various games, including Valuing, Hearthstone, and Rainbow 6: Siege. Additionally, Prime Gaming members receive a free Twitch subscription to use on a streamer of their choice. Prime Gaming is included with every Amazon Prime subscription at $15 per month. This month’s headlining game is The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivionavailable for free just as Bethesda begins ramping up promotion for star fieldthe company’s next big game.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is one of Bethesda’s most famous works and is widely considered a classic Western RPG. Prime Gaming offers the deluxe edition of Oversight which includes the Knights of the Nine and quivering islands expansion packs. Meanwhile, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a shooting version of the classic PopCap mobile game; however, support for the title ended at the end of 2020. For fans of classic LucasArts games, Monkey Island 2 is considered one of the best in the studio. Amazon Prime Gaming also offers in-game content for lost ark, To watch, and Foyer. Fans still have a few days left to claim Prime Gaming’s March deals, which include Madden NFL 22.
Prime Gaming’s bundle of free games for April isn’t as extravagant as in previous months. Subscribers in January received Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Total War: Warhammerand The Second World War, while the following months saw Stellaris and Madden NFL 22. However, fans looking to get into a meaty RPG and have yet to play a Bethesda RPG should look into this bundle. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is sure to take many gamers’ time until May’s series of Prime Gaming titles drop.
